Recent Activities

Noreen Goldman became a member of the Population Research Subcommittee of NICHD. She continued to serve as a member of the Board on Global Health of the Institute of Medicine, the Working Group on Teaching of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population, and the advisory group for the RAND survey, the Los Angeles Study of Families and Children. She served as chairperson of the Nominating Committee of the PAA and is currently a member of the PAA Organizing Committee. During the past year, she participated in the Conference on Demography and Epidemiology at Georgetown University, the IUSSP Seminar on Demographic Training in the Third Millennium in Rabat, Morocco, the NAS Workshop on longitudinal demographic and health data in developing countries, the RAND Summer Institute on Aging, and the PAA Annual Meeting.
