Interests: population policy, comparative fertility in developing countries, fertility surveys,family planning. Recent ActivitiesCharles Westoff presented two papers at the annual Meeting of the Population Association of America and another paper at the meeting in France of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population. He served as a referee for the electronic journal Demographic Research for the Max Planck Institute where he also presented a lecture. He continued to serve as Senior Demographic Advisor to the Demographic and Health Surveys and on the boards of the Population Resource Center and the Guttmacher Institute.
